Mission

Clear, compassionate decisions —
before and after a loss.

AfterLifePlans helps families make better end-of-life decisions by providing practical guidance, transparent options, and trusted local resources. We’re independent. We’re education-first. And we don’t sell your data — to anyone.

Trust manifesto

Eight commitments we publish — and keep.

  1. 01Education-first.

We help you understand choices before anyone sells you anything.

  2. 02We disclose incentives.

If we’re paid, you’ll see it — clearly labeled, in context.

  3. 03Editorial ≠ partnerships.

Providers can’t buy better guidance or higher rankings.

  4. 04We respect grief.

No fear tactics, no manipulation, no urgency games.

  5. 05Price clarity.

We push for ranges, itemization, and apples-to-apples comparisons.

  6. 06We protect privacy.

Your information is yours. We don’t sell it.

  7. 07Culture & faith.

    Planning is never one-size-fits-all.

  8. 08Practical, always.

Checklists, scripts, and steps — so families can act.

Editorial policy

Guides are written by our editors and reviewed for accuracy and tone. We update them when prices, regulations, or best practices change. We do not accept payment for editorial placement, rankings, or favorable language. Corrections are welcomed and credited.

Partnerships policy

We work with vetted local providers. Verification is earned, not paid. Featured partners may pay for clearly labeled ad units; they never influence editorial content or “best for” matches. Affiliate relationships are disclosed in context.
